Mawule A. Sevon, Educator, Author, & Speaker

Mawule is a school psychologist and behavior analyst who uses her behavioral approach to identify and mitigate the impacts of compound racial disparities in the U.S. education system.

With a primary focus on inequity in disciplinary practices for preschool and elementary-aged children, she works  to increase clinicians’ awareness and application of culturally-responsive practices in the field.

Mawule holds a Specialist’s degree in school psychology and national board certification as a behavior analyst. She has presented and spoken at numerous professional and academic conferences on topics related to culture, race, diversity, and inclusion.

She founded The Key Consulting Firm specifically to have an impact on reducing racial inequity in schools by increasing the cultural competence of educators. She believes if you provide the community with KEYS, they will be better able to make lasting change.
